Veterans’ MATES is an accredited continuing professional development (CPD) learning activity for participating pharmacists and general practitioners. Activity requirements are detailed below.

RACGP QI & CPD Points

GPs who receive and complete any two Veterans’ MATES topics and complete the activity steps are eligible for 40 Category 1 points.

ACRRM Professional Development Program

GPs registered in the ACRRM Professional Development Program that complete any Veterans’ MATES topic and complete the essential requirements of a clinical audit, are eligible for 16 Extended Skills points.

Being unsteady on your feet can be worrying, particularly if you have fallen in the past. You might feel that there is nothing that can be done to help and that it’s just one of those things that happen as you get older. By talking to your GP and working through things together, small changes can be made to help keep you steady on your feet and reduce your chance of having a fall.
